Living as a Church: Giving

This is the 19th class in our series, Living as a Church. In this class we are considering the topic of Giving. We'll consider why we give, how we give and how giving fosters unity in the body. This class was originally taught on October 10th, 2021 by Paul Abdallah.

Gentle & Lowly: Chapters 15 & 16 (Lamentations 3:33; Exodus 34:6)

A class considering the book by Dane Ortlund: Gentle and Lowly. This is the ninth class of a 13 week study, taught on July 31st, 2022. Throughout this class we will be considering the heart of Jesus for sinners and sufferers. In this class we consider Lamentations 3:33 and Exodus 34:6 and consider how God of Old Testament reflects what we've been seeing of the heart of Christ in the New Testament. This class was taught by John Page.

Living as a Church: Serving

This is the 18th class in our series, Living as a Church. In this class we are considering the topic of Serving. We'll consider how serving one another fosters unity. This class was originally taught on October 3rd, 2021 by Elliott Sperlazza. 

Gentle & Lowly: Chapters 13 & 14 (John 14:16; 2 Corinthians 1:3)

A class considering the book by Dane Ortlund: Gentle and Lowly. This is the eighth class of a 13 week study, taught on July 24th, 2022. Throughout this class we will be considering the heart of Jesus for sinners and sufferers. In this class we consider John 14:16and 2 Corinthians 1:3 and consider how every person in our Triune God is united in their care for sinners and sufferers. This class was taught by Moses Abdallah.

Living as a Church: Singing

This is the 17th class in our series, Living as a Church. In this class we consider the topic of singing. We start with a foundational understanding of singing from Scripture then move to a time of panel discussion! This class was originally taught on September 26th, 2021 by Paul Abdallah. 

Gentle & Lowly: Chapter 11 (John 11:33)

A class considering the book by Dane Ortlund: Gentle and Lowly. This is the seventh class of a 13 week study, taught on July 17th, 2022. Throughout this class we will be considering the heart of Jesus for sinners and sufferers. In this class we consider John 11:33, which teaches us of the emotional life of Jesus Christ. This class was taught by Elliott Sperlazza.

Living as a Church: Spiritual Gifts

This is the 16th class in our series, Living as a Church. In this class we are considering the topic of Spiritual Gifts. We'll consider who gives the gifts, what kind of gifts and what is the purpose of these gifts. This class was taught by Kelton Zacharias on September 19th, 2021.

Gentle & Lowly: Chapters 10 & 12 (Matthew 10:37; 11:19)

A class considering the book by Dane Ortlund: Gentle and Lowly. This is the sixth class of a 13 week study, taught on July 10th, 2022. Throughout this class we will be considering the heart of Jesus for sinners and sufferers. In this class we consider Matthew 10:37 and 11:19, which teaches us that the heart of Jesus is one of great beauty and of a tender friend. This class was taught by John Page.

Living as a Church: Prayer

This is the 15th class in our series: Living as a Church. In this class we are giving thought to how corporate prayer fosters unity in the church. This class was originally taught on September 12th, 2021 by Elliott Sperlazza.

Gentle & Lowly: Chapter 8 (Hebrews 7:25)

A class considering the book by Dane Ortlund: Gentle and Lowly. This is the fifth class of a 13 week study, taught on July 3rd, 2022. Throughout this class we will be considering the heart of Jesus for sinners and sufferers. In this class we consider Hebrews 7:25, which teaches us that the work of Jesus includes his present intercession for us before the Father. This class was taught by John Page.
